My Malawi murmurings are on hold while I spend time in the Adelaide Hills. While I am away the electricians are supposedly fixing all the problems and we have had a new inverter installed. With any luck the problems of old will be the problems of old.
It is nice to be eating seafood, something we don't get fresh in Malawi although with the lake so close one wonders why. Foodworths does have frozen prawns but I am reluctant to risk it and prefer to wait until we are out of country. Surf and Turf does a great English fish and chips with frozen fish but beyond cans of tuna and salmon life is definitely not fishy in Lilongwe.
In a world of fresh oysters, prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, crayfish, mussels, scallops and a cornucopia of fresh fish I am in heaven.
